We have hope to share

October 26 Workshop: Putting Love into Action

Our Anniversary Meeting speaker, Su, will lead a workshop in the afternoon of October 26:  Putting Love into Action.  It will run from 1:00-4:30, allowing time for dinner before the Speaker Meeting at 7:00.

Su C. has 29 years in Al-Anon. She is passionate about her primary purpose and currently serves as the District 24 Representative. She has served in Alateen and Institutions and as District Secretary. Su has spoken in Italy, Redding and Oregon at Al-Anon events.

Please register by posting a payment to Venmo or PayPal.  Suggested donation is $10, though none will be turned away for lack of funds.  Although we will take walk-ins, it’s very helpful if we know how many are coming, so try to register.  You may register with just a $1 payment.

Please note:  both the workshop and the Speaker Meeting will be in a different location from our usual.  The location is the Walnut Creek United Methodist Church, 1543 Sunnyvale Ave., WC, near the intersection of Treat and North Main.  Directions are here.  Previously planned for the Social Hall, we will now be in the Sanctuary and use other rooms on the main level.

Some people will be going from the workshop to dinner at Manakish Mediterranean restaurant before the Speaker Meeting; you are welcome to join them.  It’s a 0.3 mile, six minute walk from the church that does not require crossing any streets.

The preferred method of payment is Venmo, because there are no fees.  Go to Venmo.com or use your Venmo app and send your donation to Northern California DFourteenAFG or @DFourteenAFG (and code 6770 if necessary).   Be sure to note that that this donation is for the Workshop.

Alternatively, you can use PayPal, using the button below  (Please make a note that this donation is for Workshop).

The workshop is expected be hybrid.  Although we don’t need preregistration for on-line, we would appreciate donations.  Click here to go to Zoom.  Or enter 822 9293 1779, passcode 326066.
