Al-Anon and Alateen Conference Approved Literature (CAL) is one of the tools to help families and friends recover from the effects of someone else’s drinking. It’s nice to know that we can turn to our literature for hope and inspiration whenever a meeting is not immediately available or our sponsor or other members cannot be reached at 3:00 am.
How to Obtain Al-Anon and Alateen Literature
Meetings
Most Al-Anon and Alateen meetings have Al-Anon and Alateen literature available. They may sell the literature or ask for a donation, usually at the price that they paid for it.
District 14 Literature Depot
Ordering from the local Literature Depot supports your local Al-Anon groups.
How to order
- Find titles and prices in the Literature Catalog.
- Check with your group treasurer before placing an order to make sure your group has the money to pay for the literature. Be sure to take into account state sales tax (9.75%) plus S&H (10%).
- Use the online order form at the bottom of this page.
- If you’re an individual ordering for yourself, you don’t need to provide a group name or group number.
- You will receive a confirmation text clarifying any questions.
- Make checks payable to “Northern California District 14 AFG.“
- Leave your check in the envelope at the pickup location.
- If paying with Zelle, use the QR code posted at each pickup location.
